The fall semester is in full swing and your students are in various stages of their high school experience trying to figure out their next steps. It’s an important job helping your students navigate their options, and we’re here to supply you with tools and resources.

Mark your calendar

Admission Services is hosting several Sun Devil Day programs for prospective students this fall that align with most schools’ fall breaks! These in-depth visit experiences focus on exploring majors, academic opportunities and the student experience. Students will learn why ASU was selected as the #4 public university in the U.S. for first-year experience and the #4 public university for undergraduate education. View dates and times.

Deadlines and opportunities for students

Now: The fall 2020 application for admission is open via ASU’s application or the Common Application.

Now: ASU’s Scholarship Portal is open. Students don’t have to be admitted to ASU to begin applying for scholarships.

Oct. 1: The 2020–2021 FAFSA opens. Remind your students to create their FSA ID prior to starting the FAFSA. Families will use their 2018 tax information.

Nov. 1: ASU’s priority admission date.

Nov. 1: Early action deadline to apply to Barrett, The Honors College. Students don’t have to be admitted to ASU to apply to Barrett. Students who have a complete Barrett application on file by the Nov. 1 early action deadline put themselves in the best possible position for a positive decision.

Jan. 15: ASU’s priority filing date for the FAFSA and the Obama Scholars Program (Arizona residents only).

For Obama Scholars consideration, students must submit their:
A completed application.
The application fee (or application fee waiver, if eligible).
An official six-semester graded transcript with grades.
Their senior class schedule with in-progress courses.
A complete FAFSA.
