As the fall 2020 semester approaches, Arizona State University, the University of Arizona and Northern Arizona University are learning to embrace the new aspects of the current environment. We know you and your school are going through many challenges, such as managing your students’ college search expectations in our new world. This summer, we have spent time collaborating with one another, identifying programming that can be adapted and expanding access.
Together ASU, UA and NAU assert that it is not socially responsible to have our recruitment teams visit your schools in person during the fall semester. This does not mean we are reducing our services. In fact, we are expanding our virtual programming to make sure we are serving your students and their families.
In the coming weeks, you will hear from our universities about available programs and the additional ways that we can offer support to you and your students. We want to work with you to craft experiences that are beneficial to your students and families given the new remote learning modality. In the interim, these virtual visit pages are great resources for your students.
We know that you may be looking for substitutes for in-person college fairs, and encourage you to have students participate in virtual college fair programs provided by the NACAC and the Coalition for College.
We believe it’s important to collaborate, innovate and work together to help students complete the application process to enroll in college in the coming years. Please let us know if you have any questions by reaching out to NaTasha Henry, Emily Ross or Abby Tudor.
We look forward to assisting you.
