The Transfer Achievement Award is available to Arizona residents who transfer to ASU from any Arizona community college. The award amount varies each year and is typically awarded in the fall semester. Spring awards are dependent on the remaining funds from the previous fall. Please note that regardless if a student starts in fall or spring semester, funding is limited and awards are not guaranteed. Students are awarded on a first-come, first-served basis.
Applicants must have a minimum 3.50 cumulative GPA and demonstrate financial need as determined by the FAFSA. There is no application for this award.
To be automatically considered, you must submit the following:
- An ASU admission application by Feb. 1 for fall and Oct. 1 for spring.
- The application fee by Feb. 1 for fall and Oct. 1 for spring.
- Academic transcripts from each school attended by Feb. 1 for fall and Oct. 1 for spring.
- A FAFSA by Jan. 1 for fall and Oct. 1 for spring.
Awards can be renewed for a total of four consecutive semesters by completing 24 ASU credit hours with a 2.50 or higher ASU cumulative GPA and submitting a FAFSA by the above deadlines each year that demonstrates continued financial need.
