Transfer Achievement Award
Arizona State University is committed to making an accessible, top-quality education a reality for Arizona residents. Paying for college can be a concern, but there is assistance available.
The Transfer Achievement Award is available to Arizona residents who transfer to ASU from any Arizona community college. The award amount varies each year and is typically awarded in the fall semester. Spring awards are dependent on the remaining funds from the previous fall. Please note that regardless if a student starts in fall or spring semester, funding is limited and awards are not guaranteed.
Applicants must have a minimum 3.50 cumulative GPA and demonstrate financial need as determined by the FAFSA. There is no separate application for this award other than the FAFSA.
To be automatically considered, you must submit the following:
- An ASU admission application, application fee and transcripts from each school attended by Jan. 15 for fall and Oct. 1 for spring.
- A FAFSA by May 1 for fall and Oct. 1 for spring.
Awards can be renewed for a total of four consecutive semesters by completing 24 ASU credit hours with a 2.50 or higher ASU cumulative GPA and submitting a FAFSA by the above deadlines each year that demonstrates continued financial need.
