Complete your teaching degree with ASU Sync
In the ASU Sync classroom, students and professors connect together from different locations across the state of Arizona, in real time via Zoom. Students progress through evening classes together, along with their professors, who provide support toward earning a bachelor’s degree. Students complete the professional experiences required for certification in person at a school in their community. At this time, students interested in earning a bachelor’s degree leading to teacher certification and living outside of Maricopa County can take advantage of ASU Sync.
Earn your certification and develop the knowledge and skills to successfully teach grades 6–12. While teacher candidates develop a strong theoretical background in their specific content areas, the education program courses focus on developing the skills and teaching abilities required to be successful in the classroom. The program's professional experience component provides students with an opportunity to work directly with children and make an immediate impact on classroom achievement. Choose from concentrations in math, science, English or history.
