Introducing the ASU Commitment Scholarship
Beginning with students admitted for fall 2026, ASU will no longer participate in the WUE program.
ASU is launching the ASU Commitment Scholarship, a new scholarship designed to make an ASU degree more accessible to students nationwide. Unlike WUE, the ASU Commitment Scholarship is open to first-year students, regardless of their state of residency, campus choice or major.
This renewable scholarship is available to students enrolled in any degree program at any ASU campus, as well as the ASU California Center in Los Angeles. It can also be combined with the New American University Scholarship, giving students even more opportunity to lower their cost of attendance.
The ASU Commitment Scholarship ensures students have access to a high-quality education at a great value, wherever they begin their ASU journey.
