International Arrival and Welcome

Arizona State University hosts a number of arrival and welcome events for incoming international students. These informative and interactive programs offer an overview of a wide variety of topics to help you learn more about ASU.

 

Fall 2022 International Arrival and Welcome

International Arrival and Welcome will be held on Monday, August 15, 2022. in person at ASU's Tempe campus.

Registration coming soon

Registered students and families will receive additional details and the full event schedule through email. Students who register for International Arrival and Welcome will also receive communication about airport arrival transportation thought their email.

First-year students: Incoming undergraduate first-year international students are expected to attend the Fall 2022 International Arrival and Welcome prior to attending classes. First-year international students should also complete the New Student Orientation Experience, which can be accessed under the Priority Tasks section on MyASU. You can access the New Student Orientation Experience after you pay your enrollment deposit. While completing the New Student Orientation Experience, you will be invited to schedule your Academic Orientation Session. During this session, you will meet with your academic college and register for fall courses with your academic advisor. To learn more, visit here.

Transfer and Graduate students: Incoming undergraduate transfer and graduate international students are expected to attend the Fall 2022 International Arrival and Welcome prior to attending classes. Your first step is to register for your fall courses. Your department may require you to contact an academic advisor to register so visit My ASU to view the name and contact information for your academic advisor in the Academic Support Team box. Once you have your fall courses scheduled, register for the International Arrival and Welcome using the link above.

International Student Engagement supports, advocates and designs experiences for international undergraduate and graduate students from admittance through graduation and beyond.

ISE provides students with personal and professional development opportunities outside of the classroom. Students build community, develop their leadership skills and participate in our many global celebrations.
